In North America, consumers can purchase Animal Crossing amiibo cards through Target.
Animal Crossing characters found in this card series include those exclusively from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise paid DLC expansion. This is the first time Nintendo is reprinting and re-selling these cards through its official storefront. While the cards originally released in November, 2021, a majority of storefronts immediately sold out. A total of 48 cards are available to obtain through the series 5 amiibo card packs. One pack will include a total of 3 cards. The Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 5 reprints will ship sometime in March 2022.
Additionally, consumers can only purchase ten packs per person for 330 yen, or $3, each. However, this is currently limited to the Japanese My Nintendo Store online storefront. Consumers can once again purchase the Animal Crossing amiibo cards series 5 through the My Nintendo Store online shop.
